Went on my first long ride with the LRS 17" windshield for my Road King today. BLUF, Probably should have gone with the 19" since I'm 6' 1", but the 17" worked really well with only a little buffeting at 70+ mph. I got the light tint which I think is perfect for riding down here in Florida, it really seems to cut down on some of the road glare. Fitment was good and the stock hardware bolted on with no problem. The shield is a little thicker and heavier than stock which I think is a good thing and definitely looks more stylish than the stocker. Overall, I'm very very happy with the change and with the HD forum 40% discount, it's really a no-brainer.
You know BLUF is a military term (might only be Air Force too...), right?...Not many folks out there know what it means. Glad you like your LRS though. I have the 17" and the 19". Both are good. Wish they were as clear as stock but they are OK for the money....
I've had the 17 with the re-curve on my bike for 7 or 8 months now.....(maybe a little longer)and I have to be honest....it's great for local....maybe 1 to 2 hour runs, but i think for longer (day/weekend) trips, I will put the stock one back on....just a little too much buffeting for me.

Glad you like your shield! : ) The light tint is nice. I always got a ton of glare off cars etc with clear, the light tint seems to help alot. Learned a new one today, hadn't heard BLUF before either...
