Damn squeeling brakes
damn squeeling brakes (mostly on the rear) on my 08 flht...been doing it since new and now has become unbearable..tried beveling the edges, sanding, cleaning rotors, calipers, and pads to no avail...i'm done, ordered organic carbon kevlar pads..hope this fixes it

went to my dealer..( a rare occasion) to ask for any kind of fix and just got a dumb #### look...guess thats why i don't bother

Here's a pic of it, works pretty well from what I've heard, almost completely eliminates the squealing. I've heard it works for kids/ old ladies too

I get the same squeeling noise primarily with my rear brakes. I've got a 2012 FLHR but will check with my local dealership service folks and see if they can address the issue. Maybe the service bulletin should cover 2008-later as it seem to be applicable even with the current models.

amazing that my dealer could not or would not offer this fix to me...i printed these off and will drop a copy on the serv. managers desk tuesday...good grief!
