I am ordering an 07 Ultra Classic Friday. Not being too mechanically inclined I am looking for advice on upgrades (PC/SERT) and I am not too clear on what to do. Bought an 05 Fatboy w/95 motor and put Reinharts on it and plan to do the same with the Ultra. Reinhart true duals that is.Just not sure on what else should be done. Any help is appreciated

 

Well, if you're going with a new exhaust, you'll want a high-flow intake such as the SE Stage 1 and a fuel management system such as the PCIII, FuelPak, or SERT. If you use the SEARCH function of the forum, you will find tons of information that will help you make your choice. Most folks lean toward the PCIII fuel mgmt system because of its great adaptability and customer service from fuelmoto.com.

 

marshal......The advice the pastor john gave is very good, the only thing I would add is ask whoever is going to do the dyno tuning on your bike, after all the upgrades, to find out what fuel management system (ie, SERT, PCIII, etc) that they prefer to work with. I went with the SERT on my bike solely because my tuner is very good with the SERT and prefers to tune using that set up.
