SERT vs SERF
I have slip on's and amwantingto go to a big sucker a/c but am unsure about what fuel system to get. I know that the SERT allows more adjustments but I don't think that I want all that. I really just want to change to the big sucker (cant stand the football)so have to have fuel system. Is there a noticable difference in performance after adding a/c and fuel system? If I go with the SERF will I have to get a dyno done or just hook everything up and ride? I guess I don't want to pay for the SERT if I'm not going to use what it has to offer so will the SERF work with/without anything from the dealer? Are the SERT adjustments hard to do?Thanks for comments and input.
TheSERF requires manual adjustments of potentiometers through three RPM ranges. A dyno tune is widely recommended with most the tuners, but definately with the SERF. For another $75.00, you can get a PClll. A lot will tell you to spend the extra money and get the SERT.
What the hell is a SERF? Screaming Eagle Race Fueller? I didn't even think they made those anymore. All I have is a Thunderheader and the Screaming Eagle air cleaner I tried a DFO and my bike never ran decent until I got a SERT and had it dyno tuned. The SERT probably does have way more adjustability than you need but it's better to have too much than not enough.
