Sledding on my FLHTCU
Seven miles outside of Paint Bank, VA, there is a tight right-hand curve with some of my DNA on it. A dip in the road, on the curve, charged my suspension while I was acting like a sport-bike rider on my tourer. The engine guards came in contact with the pavement and the motorcycle turned into a sled instantaneously. This happened about three weeks ago.
Good news, though! No oncoming car/truck, the opposite road shoulder kept the bike from going over a drop-off, there was only minor damage to my bike, and I experienced only a little road rash that has already healed.
I learned to slow down and increase my chances to ride tomorrow; however, to do so in style, I am in need of a stock, front engine guard and right rear engine guard that will fit an '07 FLHTCU. Search your garage's attic and let me know if you have one to sell. ...Don
