2006 Ultra AND my 2010 Limited. Running the oil levels right at the low mark on the dip stick. Why is there oil still dripping ( a fairly good amount ) out of the air filter. How do you prevent this?

Do a search on this site for that topic, sit back with a 6-pack and read away....
I have the same problem in a 2011 RKC....many threads on this one. I just drained another 4 oz out. Running between 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 qts. Cleaned the filter out and will see what today brings on the hump day ride. We run pretty hard with this group of riders. Should be a good test.
I am researching the distinction between stock breathers and stage 1 breathers with oil drips. Do you still have the stock air breather or have you put a stage 1 kit on it? If you have an aftermarket breather now, did it drip when you had the stock breather? I run my oil right up to the full line. In fact for 1500 mi I ran my oil two dots higher than full and no drip? Im trying to find out if stage 1 'plumbing' have any bearing on this most annoying problem?

I would have to say yes (from reading prior posts) but I don't have any personal experience since I pulled my stock AF off right after buying my SG. The V & H filter dripped and my current AN Big Sucker drips. I did the copper tubing into the intake last week and will see if that helps the situation on my trip from NJ to Tenn/NC at the end of the month.

Do you have a pic of the copper tubing design, I'd like to see it? I think I've seen a design from 2black1s before but I'm not for certain and still doing searches?
Picture would be nice. I am willing to give that a try. On the other thread someone stated the SE Stage1 air box didn't drip. I would modify the one I got if it would work.
Not sure how the other setups install, but I've got the V/H V02 setup and the hoses come straight off the breather bolts and into the throat of the EFI. Never had a single drop of blow-by.

I have everything loctited and assembled already but will pull it apart after my trip down south to see if there's any improvement. Plus daughters getting married this weekend, so no time to tinker with the bike....
