Ok doing a full oil change on my bike, 4 quarts in the engine about 22 onces in the tranny and poured the quart in the primary but the oil looks low in the primary?? Question can i add some on my engine oil or some tranny oil in there to bring it up. Book said 32 onces in the primary. Bike is a 2006 Elctra Glide. This is a Redline oil change.
Thanks

The oil level in the primary always looks low. Its only supposed to cover part of the bottom of the clutch assy. If the book says 32oz & you put in 32oz then you're ok. I think theres a comment about the fluid amount in a wet vs dry primary but I dont have a book close by.
This the Redline deal you can get on E bay 20/50 in the engine the pink stuff in the tranny and primary oil in the primary? I live in Naugatuck. Just looks low but i haven't ran it yet either, still have the primary cover off.

I would put in 3 and 1/2 quarts in the motor then check the dip stick with the engine warm. There will be about 1/2 a quart of oil in the engine that will not drain out. Many here complain about oil blowing out the air intake when they put in 4 quarts. Yours may not do that but if you find oil in your air filter after putting in 4 quarts that will probably be the problem.
I have never tried the product in the below video but it looks interesting.

I'll have to check that as soon as i run it, if need be i'll make a mess and pull the plug to drain some, still have another quart of engine oil to "use"
