Wow just saw this thread , too funny. Since whenis saying a 330 lb man is overweight attacking him. 330 lbs by any definition is overweight. The poster saying BP deserved what he got from the texter is a ****in idiot. To the OP ,I had a friend in NY named big mike about 20 years ago. He weighed over 600 lbs and rode his bike everywhere.
Maybe it's technically not attacking him, and OK, he's overweight.
I suspect he knows that already and he didn't ask anyone's opinion about it either. It is what it is, so why the heck bother to go there?
Either try to answer the OP's question or don't. But if you choose not to help with his question, why bother to post?
By the way, OP, it'll be fine. Just made sure your tires are good and maxxed out on inflation. My wife and myself put close to 500 lbs. on the bike by ourselves, and for years I have laughed at Harley's recommended max weight. Has Harley ever been to a rally? Come on...
99%er--I agree completely. We bust each other's chops constantly. I think that is why I had a hard time seeing why dudes were getting butt hurt.
Throwback--- I actually interpreted your "invite" the way you intended it. My remark towards invitations was more geared toward anyone else who may jump in and play keyboard commando. I do see why BP may have taken your post the other way though. I think it was probably more so because of all the other input in the thread. Had I been in his shoes in this whole mess, I would have probably gotten pretty ill, which in turn would change the way I took most of these posts. I intially took BPs first post as more of a joke than anything. I am betting that is how he intended it at first as well. Big picture.....its the internet fellas, chill out. It doesn't matter what someone types. Your state of mind when you read it is what determines how you take it.
Sorry Izzo, I was typing at the same time you were I guess
