Default Road King Windshield Glare

I'm a new owner of a 2011 Road King. On my first night ride I was surprised at the glare I got coming off the illuminated speedometer onto the windshield. It is really distracting on dark roads. Is there a way to dim the light or has anyone else had this issue? The windshield is the stock item that came with the bike.

there are visor kits for the speedo, that would reduce the reflected light.

alternate a piece of theatrical lighting gel cut to size and slipped into place.

options are a million colours, diffustion, grey filter etc.

find a theatrical supply house ( or community theater) and ask to look at a sample book from rosco, lee or GAM

they may have scraps for free.

cut to size and slip into place

I think I remember that on my first 2-3 night rides or so... doesn't bother me anymore - don't notice it anymore, but mkguitar's suggestions are good, just haven't put that much thought into it I guess, after I got used to it.

I have not found a visor for a 09 up Road King, I think it is different than any others
