Hope this helps. A buddy of mine and myself bought twin slash rounds at the same time. He installed his while I was on vacation. He called me and said they were too loud for his liking. He rides a 2007 police edition. When I returned I installed mine and the sound was completely different. I ride a 2012 FLHTK. He made me take his for a ride and he was right. TOO LOUD!!! I thought about it and said the only difference I could see was I have a cat still. He was going back to stock but bought the quiet baffles instead. What a difference. Same throaty deep rumble sound as mine. He is very happy now. The good thing is that I am putting the dresser duals on mine and if it's too loud I will install the baffles and get the same sound or close to it.

I just put the slash rounds on my 2012 Limited with the stock header and it sounds great. I am doing a swap for a catless header, I hope it wont be too loud. Due in this week.

I put the quiet baffles in my twin slash rounds. The only time I can really tell the difference is when I ride into my neighborhood. I can hit 2nd gear and roll down the street and not wake everyone. They will still get loud when I roll on the throttle.

Tried the quiet baffles in mine, didn't like them personally, sold them to a buddy who loves them, plus it makes his wife happy, so all is good!.....Ohh and when he rolls into the throttle, they are just as loud as mine, just quieter at cruise speed.
