Idle Speed Increase
Had an incident with my girlfriends '07 Road King recently. While idling down a stretch of gravel about 1.5 miles long, the idle speed increased on its own. This is not the best feature especially when on loose gravel. I wrote it off as a fluke, only to have the same situation on the way out the next day. Any thoughts? Bike is stock except for a pipes, air cleaner, and a Power Commander 3.

the on off thing is 08 and up doesn't do it for 07,there is a whole very long thread on 07 idol issues,start from the back of the thread that will get u the most current info,tps has been common as well as idol air controller,for me it was a tps adjuster screw that is red lactated from factory,the nonexistent heat melted the lactate and the screw backed out,it looks like an idol screw but its not,it has to be adjusted to a certain voltage.even a few cases of the butterflies coming loose.
