If the bottom of your 3.5" diameter slip-on only has a bolt on the bottom near the outlet we refer to that as a single bolt baffle. An example part number would be 152012. The inlet side of the baffle must be seated properly with the inlet/transition area of the muffler body. I just received my Rush Slip ons 1.75 for a 2011 FatBoy Lo, where can I get any install instructions, seems pretty simple other than the torque settings?
All of our slip on mufflers mount the same as the original stock mufflers and should be installed the same way they came off. There really are only two important things to address. Use new muffler clamps and torque to 60 ft lbs. Clean the mufflers before starting the bike. Even if your hands were clean during the install it will still cause discoloring if the finish is not cleaned.
