Same issue here. I got the seat Friday and they are sending me a label to ship it back. I plan on doing a swap because I really liked the seat. Hopefully it works out the second time around.
Glad I found this thread. I JUST picked up my 12 SG and am looking for a solo seat.
On a side note, how far back and down do you think the C&C solo puts you? I need down and back bad. Feel like im sitting on the tank compared to the Corbin I had on my RKC.
Thanks, I called them yesterday and was about to order one when the person I was talking with asked what seat I was on now. I told him I was using an HD signature solo seat. He mentioned that their seat will move me closer by 2 inches as there seat measure 18". I was concerned so I did not order it yet. Got home and measured the HD solo and it was 16" from the nose of the seat to were my @ss sits. I am going to call them again this morning. I took some pics with the tape measure and hopefully this person is not familiar with the HD solo with an 09 PN. He did mention that he never seen a solo seat with a built in backrest from HD. Well mine has one, so I hope this is a misunderstanding.
Update: I called Check back and it was a complete misunderstanding. He was thinking i had the Brawler seat. I ordered one and will get it on Monday the 29th.
