Ok, so here’s what you’re working with: ’11 Ultra Limited, 103, with 23K Recently complete stage 1 (Ness Big Sucker/Power Duels/V&H 4” rounds/ SE tuner and dyno’d at dealer). Numbers from dyno were nice but I noticed that before dyno she was running very rich; after dyno she’s running very lean (right on the line). Because I love her new sounds, I tend to get on her every now and then, when I do she pops (shifting up during acceleration, down shifting if I do it too fast, anytime I really rev her up and let off the gas). It doesn’t really bother me all that much – but will it hurt the bike. Is something I should take back to the dealer and have them “fine” tune their first tune? I mean if it’s something they did wrong - I want it “right”.
Since they added new pipes (correct?), I'd make sure the exhaust flanges are not leaking and if they are, your dyno time was wasted.
Regardless, it should not be popping.
