Hey everyone. I just found a 1991 FHLS for a really good price. I am looking for older bike in decent condition that I can work on myself, but still be something that can last me awhile before making a new purchase. The problem that I have is that this bagger has 70k miles on it!!!!!!!
Am I ridiculous for even considering this purchase? Obviously I am on a budget, or I would be looking at newer models with lower miles. The dealer selling it said they ran a compression test and everything was fine. My concern is that I buy this bike and less than one season, I would have to rebuild or do major work to it.
Any advise and help would be greatly appreciated. I am going back on Wednesday to ride it again and possibly make a decision.
