I have recently installed some Vance and Hines Big Shots, has anyone had any issues with them dragging, mostly on the right side.
I'm not sure if they sit a little lower than my stocks did, but I can see where it has scraped my heat sheilds, but you have to get down low to see it, but it is frustrating if they do sit lower with what I paid for them.
Now that I think about it, I was doing the same thing both times, and I was cutting it pretty sharp both times. with the parking lot pavemnt higher than the road. Thanks
Just put a new front pipe heat shield on my dresser duals this morning. I was okay with the scrapes down low but a few weeks ago hit a dip mid turn causing the chrome to crack and peel off. Guess now I know just how far not to lean. They are lower than stock, I used to drag footboard mount first.

Oops, I read too fast. You're talking about dragging mufflers not pipes.

No I was scrapping my pipes about 6" back from my right floor board, it has about a 4 inch scratch on them now. I would have thought that they would sit higher because they aren't as big as the stock pipes.
I just looked at pics of mine before and after and they are definitely lower now. Scrapes are okay like you said but, watch out for those heat shield crushing bumps like I found.
My husband keeps tellin me to slow down in the corners. I guess he's right. These scrapes are from my heel rest on my forward controls and my Big Radius pipes
