OP, this project almost never goes the way you expect or want it to. The World Wide Web can't help you when it's time to realign everything. Ya just gotsta get 'er done...I know this because I've fouled this job up the way you did twice now!

2010 Ultra Key start problem
When I lock my forks and return to unlock them the engine and all electrical system will not engage. I have to wiggle the key switch back and forth multiple times and it usually corrects itself. A Pain and a empty feeling when out on the road. Dealer replaced it once but the problem did not go away. Anyone else have this issue?

Ok, well ... sounds like a warranty issue? Is your dealer not correcting the problem?

They say that it's not a frequent enough problem to put engineering on it. So in the mean time I just live with it. If I wiggle it enough times so far it corrects itself. It's like having that dead battery feeling when it happens. Except dead battery I have a jump pak. Thx for your reply.
