Default Boom!™ Audio iPod® Interface

Does anyone have step by step info on how to install the Boom iPod interface for 2010 Street glide? Just purchased mine and I'm lost.

Here are a couple videos I found. It is not the Boom! Audio iPod Inteface, but from what i can see they should be very similar. The first video is for installing in the fairing and the second is installing in the saddlebag. I have not done this install myself yet, but it seems like it should be pretty good.

Except for attaching the module to the radio, the aftermarket iPod module's installation is nothing like the HD module installation.

Steel Billet, do you have the HD installation instructions? If not, I can supply them.

If you don't understand how to connect the harnesses used, say so.

If you don't know how to insert wires in the 35 wire capacity connector, say so.

Saying you;re "lost" isn't much help in identifying what specific help you need.

Bottom line: if there are specific aspects of the installation that you don't understand, just list them.

Step 1) take to dealer
Step 2) hand them your credit card

I'm sorry, I know I'm no help at all.
I do have one and they do work nice. You will like it once it's installed.

Thanks the dealer will be my last stop after all else fails. Last time I was in there all they did was give me Hell about my Thundermax.
I will get it figured out it will just take more time than I thought.

Suggestion 1: edit your original post and say that you want a "video or step by step pictures." Had you phrased your request in those terms, I would not have responded with questions so specific that go to the most common problems with installation of the HD iPod module.

Suggestion 2: Buy the HD Service Manual; it will tell you how to insert the wires in the 6B and 28B connector; etc.

In the meantime, I hope someone will post or you'll find the video you seek; or, alternatively, send me a PM with your phone number and I'll call you and talk you through the installation.

Good luck with your project.

I use Pandora with my Iron Cross HDPD Plus interface as well as music stored on my Iphone. Very easy installation and works well for less than half the price of the H-D interface.
