I've had my red sears jack for 6 years, no problems, just leave side stand down, stand upright and push jack under bike with foot, jack works great no leaks, and very easy to lower smoothly.

I have a stock 2010 RKC and don't have any problems at all with my red Sears jack. I just roll the jack under the bike and start lifting. It rolls totally under the frame without any problems. You need to be careful where you've got it front-to-rear to maintain the weight balance but I don't have to stand the bike upright before the jack will clear the frame - I do it all while the bike is on the sidestand and I leave the stand down the entire time while working on the bike, then press the lowering pedal while holding the bars on the way down and let it land on the sidestand after the tires touch down. Maybe some of the jacks are slightly lower than others but mine's perfect.
