Not sure where Dr. Tiki got his ***** from but I have seen similar at Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace and other hardware stores.

They take a screw driver and turn the pins from the outside, bags locked or not.

Is that what the guys from Jersey call them, storage bags?
I know...that struck me funny too. Maybe a prior goose skin suit Beemer rider that uses his secretary's *** crack to swipe his credit card ?

Wow. Lovin' this thread. For thirty years been using 1/4 turn Dzus fasteners on race cars. Hoods, front ends, interior sheet work, you name it. Everything from Comp Eliminator to Pro Stock, as in waaaay over 200 mph. Never had my **** fly off in the wind. But WTF do us car guys know.

P.S. Us "Car Guys" stole this bleeding edge technology from the aerospace guys who have been using it far long than us dumb *** car guys for cowling and other sheet metal on aircraft that's flying over 400mph.

Really, my bags just flew off??? Everybody that believes this do a google search on Dzus fasteners. Pages and pages on how to adjust them. If you have it right, hard bags aren't going anywhere unless some scum bag tries to steal them.

I totally agree, if there adjusted right they work. I've never had mine come off, in fact it takes a little effort to twist them off to get them to release because their that tight. Now stopping a thief, that's a different matter.

First of all, thanks for those of you who use and like our SaddlebagSecure. Appreciate the good word.

Wanted to make sure everyone is aware of our Forum Discount! And we also design other products to secure other accessories from theft - including securing your seat, pillion, sissy bar, bibs, luggage racks, detachable windshields and tour packs.

Plus, we just started making a boot shield to protect from the hot exhaust pipe. We make WingShields to protect your hands from the cold AND we have our KickShoe attached kickstand coaster.

Our goal is to design and produce those things that you need as simply and easily installed as possible.

Thanks for checking us out. And it's a pleasure to be a part of HDForums.
