A few days a go I posted about battery not charging on a 2005 ultra. We are camping away from home and had to fix it ourselves.We replaced the regulator and it still was not chraging,so moved on to the stator.The compensator sprocket nut was a little hard to get loose at here in the woods but other than that it went well.The stator was burnt looking.,and we replaced it.Now it is charging like it should

 

Good show! That's quite a fix for sitting in a camping site.

 

You aint kiddin'. Ive got to tear into mine and replace the stator and Im skeered to do it in my driveway. I dont have a garage. Id never do it while I was out camping, I wouldnt think Id have the tools with me.

 

Wow impressive. Lucky it wasnt an 09 up bike.
