Ok thats says a lot. In many cases when a muffler turns yellow its do to a rich rather than a lean condition. The muffler loads up with unburnt fuel vapor and the heat causes it to burn off in the muffler. Fuel moto's base maps are a little on the rich side, which is better than being on the lean side. However, this can sometimes be an unwanted product of a richer mixture. I'd call them and explain and see if they can foward you some changes to your map.
You guys do understand that it's my chrome muffler that is turning yellow right? Not sure why everyone thinks its the actual head pipe behind the heat shields I'm talking about. It's not normal in my opinion for good chrome to do this. My stock mufflers didn't and my expensive FM sure shouldn't either!

Simply put chrome discoloration on an exhaust system is a characteristic of heat. The most common contributors to this effect are running under load in extreme temps, extended idling periods, a muffler that was not cleaned after installation and before start up, the tune, the exhaust design, a combination of these factors, or most importantly the build/cam/exhaust combination itself. In most cases it is not the plating itself although it is possible. With our Jackpot mufflers we have incorporated several design aspect into the product to reduce muffler temps including the encapsulated packing material which creates a barrier between the muffler body and the core as well as the baffle design itself which extends all the way into the inlet of the inlet. While there is no way to make a muffler that is impossible to discolor due to the variables involved we have had very, very few issues with this design in the thousands of sets we have sold. If anyone has any questions they are welcome to contact us for assistance.

I absolutely Love everything about my Jackpots. I have the Dyno tuned 3.5"!
I loaded the map they gave me on the vision, so I'm surprised to hear I might be running lean.
Ditto - FM had two maps loaded on my PV and they were clearly marked - one with headers and one without. I ran without the header for a few weeks because they were on back-order and used the pre-installed map they loaded for that setup. When the headers arrived, I followed the instructions, wiped everything down after install, and changed the map to the correct one . The problem didn't happen with the stock headers, but after a couple of weeks of running the FM headers, my right side discolored.
The header itself has blued, but it's behind the cover so you don't notice it much, but the yellowing is on the chrome.
Sorry for the crappy pics, they are off my phone.
