Failing voltage regulator ??

Default Failing voltage regulator ??
Seems that the voltage regulator fail is a little to common on the 2012 models, supposedly a bad batch of farmed out 3rd world country parts... ? Anyhow, to be more specific. On my 2012 limited the voltage gauge reads just a curly hair over 15 volts. Seems a tad high ? Is this what you are all seeing or is the higher voltage burning out the diode in regulator... hence the fail ??

Just had my 2012 in for a service and therewas a recall on the voltage regulator. They switched it out during the service.

My 08 ultra and buddy's 07 street glide both read 15-15.5 always have, no issues. Could just be the gauge reading wrong. Just ride it

That reading is in the area of normality. Ride it.
