........and they both use the same $3 oil seal!!!!! LOL!!!!
Overall safety, ease of use, durability, & performance is what I'm concerned with! I could not care less about a $3.00 oil seal. If I need any replacement part for my jack a real live person is on the other end of an 800# for my possible parts needs with a great attitude & in this country too! Try the customer service with your 5 year old out of warranty $60.00 Chinese jack & see how far you get!...............
Yes, they both do the job, however a Smart Car & a Cadillac both get you from point A to point B. I know what one I want to drive for everyday use, comfort & safety! When I am lying on my creeper underneath an 800LB + bike changing fliuds & cleaning, I have a warm & fuzzy feeling knowing that my bike is NOT supported by a $60.00 cheap piece of China hunk of pig iron! Is the J&S jack more expensive than the China piece? Yup! Is the J&S Jack more safe, durable, reliable, easier to use, smoother operating, & have much better customer support? Yes, & worth every penny!............You get what you pay for in this world!.........
If you need to call customer support regarding a motorcycle jack you definitely should not be using one!

You care about everything else but the oil seal???? That's whats holding up the jack!
I put the jiffy stand on a block of 1" wood to stand the bike up a little and the jack slides under with no problem. I like my jack and have no complaints.
I do this and also have a small 2" tall platform that I ride the front wheel onto to get the jack under my lowered FLHTC. Been using mine for four years now with no problem at all.

This one really cracked me up! BaaaHaaa such a good point!
Like I said....get off the Chinese "high horse"..... 50% or more of all Harleys (component parts) are made in China also using $3.00 seals. My jack also has 5 safety lock steps.......It has held my scoot 12" off the floor for the last 6 winters without a problem.........as a matter of fact I use it every time my scoot is ridden into the garage. I use it to the Bat Cave turn around to get ready for the next ride!
