A man that knows quality when he sees it & uses it! Finally! My J&S has almost paid for itself with what I am able to work on the bike myself! It will last for years to come & is made in the ole USA! They have excellent customer service also! See what happends when those $60.00 China jacks fall apart & drop your bike! LOL.........
If jack is so good, why do you need customer service?????? I paid just over $100 for my jack and had it over a year and no customer service needed. I do use it as lease 2 or 3 times a month.........
The only reason you pay $400 plus for an "American Made" jack is because that is what they have to charge you to pay all those union workers their inflated wages! When it comes down to component parts they are all about the same in price....you just pay MORE because the company has to pay inflated union wages and benefits to cover costs!

I'll trust American Steel & Welds anyday over Chinese Steel & welds & gladly pay for quality & durablility, & safety over many years of use! ......By the way J&S is not a huge company I doubt that they are a union shop!....(LOL)...........
You have $30K tied up in your SG?? I bet you have your dealer's handprints on both of your hips LOL Did it hurt when he stuck you for 10k in bling?? Let's see this 30k SG LOL How many miles does it have? Did you get that bubble cover for it? You know..the one with the air humidifier ??
I've had my red jack for years.. never a problem with it. Used on all my Harleys and yes... gasp... metrics also. A couple of times I eve used it on atvs!! I know the red jack is well worth the money I spent on it.
$30K in a SG? Easy! Of course, he did say genuine HD and Screamin' Eagle, so he paid $5K too much. But hell, I've got $4K in the motor alone ..... but back to the OP, I agree, the Harbor Freight Jack is a good buy for the money, BUT, watch it over time. I had one for several years, but one day I had my shovelhead up on it for a bath and the ol' lady was in the yard, said it looked like it was leaning a little. Good call on her part, within another minute the jack slowly twisted and the bike went to the ground. Yes, the safety stops were in place, the whole frame twisted like a spiral..... if I hadn't been beside it to hang on to it, it would have just fallen over when it reached the ground. I figured it had just had all it could take over time.

Chinese junk will screw you in the long run! Your lucky you were not underneath of the jack performing matenance!
I have the yellow Harbor Frieght Jack, I have had my bike on it maybe 4 times, each time it was strapped down, I used my brother in laws Pitbull jack for my rebuild, i am waiting for the Lone Star Rally in November to buy my own. If you live in South East Texas and won't the HF jack come by and I will help you load it up free of charge. I have too much money invested to put it on the jack

Wow, we went from talking about jacks to those damned Americans that want to make a decent living and have health insurance. I'm sure it couldn't be the CEO's annual multi-million dollar salary that's responsible for that $400 jack?
My 2012 FLHX Street Glide MSRP $19,995.00 + $10,000.00 in Genuine HD accessories & Screamin Eagle parts! My J&S jack delivered to my door just under $400.00. Do you think that I'm gonna risk it all for a $60.00 jack made in China! LOL!..........
I have the red sears jack. I didn't know all these wonderful jacks existed. I'm also amazed people put their bikes on a jack between rides. I learn something every day on this site.
