Default vibration when braking

just changed rear shocks added progressive 940s on back, and changed fork oil used type E with SE heavy 1/2 & 1/2. now when I brake at slow speeds like coming to stop I'm getting a vibration in brake lever rear. seem to happen when i apply the front. doesnt happen at harder braking. I checked doesnt seem like i have oil or anything on callipers. any suggestions.

If you are getting a vibration when you apply the front brake it is probably loose front neck bearings. Not sure why you are feeling it more on the rear foot brake.

- or warped disks...but that will be more like a pulsing back through the lever of the brake applied

Sorry, but I'm having trouble just reading the post and trying to figure out what the OP is asking. Makes no sense as written, as least to me. Punctuation is your friend.

I'm going tomorrow to get new front rotors and pads, they are warped badly in only 4k.
They are being covered under warranty.
The service writer said I should get the steering head bearings adjusted because the vibration may have loosened them up, but that will not be covered. BS
Depending on the cost, I might just do that myself.

Sounds like a warped rotor to me.

I think the message was conveyed clearly enough to get the idea. What is this - the high school English forum moderated by frustrated teachers?

Obviously something changed when you removed the rear wheel to do the shocks. I would re-check the caliper bolts and alignment. Is it possible the rotor got bent when you had the wheel off? Check the pad wear and see how they look. If in doubt, replace. Check anything that you loosened or removed for tightness and/or alignment.

Seriously...I understood it well enough.
