Had my orginal seat modified, dbl memory foam and increased the width of the passenger portion. I have the harley hammock seat, Danny gray solo, street glide seat and the modified road king, the modified is the worst of the 4. Not bad work just not as comfortable or cosmetically appealing.
They did a double memory foam and trimmed some off on the inner thigh area when I was in Sturgis in 2009. The ride to Sturgis was a pain in the AZZ after 300 miles. Ride back home was much more comfortable.
Ask them tons of questions and they will ask you some too. I was VERY happy with the results.

I have a 2012 ultra. I had them do the double memory foam and a tail bone channel. I hated it at first but decided to give it time to break in. It took about 1500 miles to break in but it's much better than stock. I'm glad I did it.
anything that cussions and /or conforms to the area of your butt will be better then stock, the later is more subjective imo so why spend the cash if your ok with your stock seat right.
had the single layer memry foam done and now with some serious miles and day trips ,yep noticeable difference.
