Look for another stealer they are more then likely quoting all new cables and brake lines which you do not need. The shop which did mine quote for 3.5 hours plus a 4" longer clutch cable and a extended Thottle Sendor grand total less then $500 + Bars.
Not to hijack your thread but if anyone that might know, how much should it run to get these installed the stealer quoted me $1700 to get WO575's on my 2011 ultra. I thought this was pretty outrages since the bars are like $250 .
One of my local dealers quoted me $1200 for an 8 hour install. Another local dealer quoted me $350 labor if I supplied the bars and an extended cluch cable.
Maybe it's my own ignornace, but I think it's crazy to charge 8 hours for this handle swap. I know it's a pain, but 8 hours for an experienced mechanic ??
I just decided to do them myself. I know it's very involved, but I'm sure I can complete the job over a weekend and save the $75 an hour.
