Has anyone installed the Bagger Bar WO575 on a Road King. The Chubby web site says the bar is not recommended on the RK due to it's 14" width. I need to change the bars on my '02 RKC to get more pull back and have a friend with a set of the WO575's I can buy cheap. I had the 575's on an Ultra a few years ago and liked them.
The width is not recommended for a RK why? Are they afraid they are going to break or look bad? As long as you have the single piece clamp I don't see a problem. Are you sure that is what you want, the 575's only pull back a couple inches farther than stock.

I'm not sure the 575's are what I want and won't know until my friend is able to bring them by. We live 100 miles apart. I'm not sure what is currently on my bike but I need the bars back closer to me so I'm not reaching. The bars were on the bike when I bought it. They are 1 1/4" and look close to being the WO518's but I think they might be the ones that were on the SERK's. The center is 12", rise 5", width 35.5" and pullback about 13". Where can I find the chart with the measurements of the Harley bars?
//////////////////////hight //////////wide ////////////center \\\\\pull back
Stock Ultra ---------7.5"----------31.0"-----------11.5"--------12.5"
Sweepers+2--------10.8"---------34.1"------------12.0"--------7.8"
Chubby 575---------10.0"---------34.5"-----------14.0"--------13.0"
I found this on this forum

i just installed 575s and took my first ride with them yesterday. i feel like there is a lot more pullback than stock. maybe its just me...
They will work but they are made for fairing bikes meaning the center width is wider than they would be on a non fairing bike like the RK. I have WO572 which is 14" high and only 9" wide at the center. They line up perfectly with the triple tree. If you put WO575's on an RK they will overhang at the center.
Not to hijack your thread but if anyone that might know, how much should it run to get these installed the stealer quoted me $1700 to get WO575's on my 2011 ultra. I thought this was pretty outrages since the bars are like $250 .

I have the 575s too. At first they were fine, better than stock by a long shot. But after several 18 hour days in the saddle I decided I should have put 14" bars on so I could lean back against the back rest and relax with my hands a little higher, I think about half way between elbow height and shoulder height would be about right for me.
I should point out that after I installed the 575s I put a tallboy seat on which sits me back an additional couple of inches, which negates the pull back I gained with the 575s. I should have put my butt where I wanted it then bought the bars. But regardless of that, the 575s still would not be tall enough.
Still looking for some 14" bars that pull back to me so I don't have to lean over the tank, that means they will not have the bend in them to go around the fairing. If anyone knows of any please post a link.

Look for another stealer they are more then likely quoting all new cables and brake lines which you do not need. The shop which did mine quote for 3.5 hours plus a 4" longer clutch cable and a extended Thottle Sendor grand total less then $500 + Bars.
