Cams and Power COmmander V...it will improve the feel of power.
Yep, this is the way to go. I just brought mine home today. Got T-Man Torqster cams, SEPST tuner (traded in my Power Commander), and a dyno tune. Wow! What a difference! Unbelievable difference in torque. 98 HP & 111 Ft. Lbs. torque for 2 grand.
Thanks for the info. Its good to hear that you can get good performance for a lot less than the dealers charge.
I will be checking into some of the people / companies mentioned.
The wife sure likes this bike for the most part i do to and with a performance upgrade I think I will be happy enough

Give Frank Drago a call, he is always glad to discuss peformance and what he don't know never happened...
Good avice here. But I say, "It's a Harley, just cruise and enjoy."

my wife's first comment was she missed the Valkyrie's sound(6 into 6). After I got the RKC broke in and cracked the throttle, she then missed a bike that jumped when I twisted my wrist. She's know's it can't get out of it's own way and is asking me what I'm going to do !!!!
we both need a seat also, Hammock is not enough.
While ya can spend big money to make some HP from a Harley I don't think it makes any financial or practical sense. A stage 1 and maybe cams will make tolerable power for reasonable money. Harleys are cruisers. Trying to make them something else becomes a "polishing a turd" exercise. About any stock sport/sport touring bike out there will still blow it away, performance wise.
I've owned Harleys since the 70s and never used them as 'cruisers'! My Glide is a deadly serious touring bike and has crossed continents with a 107" S&S engine. I can justify and use much more performance, but just can't afford it!
