Check the fairing brackets. They've been known to break!

Yup broken mount on inside of fairing. Check the supports on both sides right by the speakers. Lots of guys make up brackets that seem to work out of angle iron but this guy sells some that work great and are easy to install for a fair price.

I thought my bracket was broken, but when I opened it up I found a missing screw for the speaker bracket. I was afraid to over tighten them when I changed speakers. Now I use a drop of locktite.

If it just started suddenly, like everyone said, look under the fairing first. Then go to the motor mounts.
If its a new bike to you, it's probably just the nature of the beast. My 08 used to vibrate so bad at idle, that I couldn't see out of my mirrors. I replaced the front mount with a GlidePro and it made a huge difference. Far from smooth, but at least bearable now. I plan on doing the rest of the system this winter.
