Check the fairing brackets. They've been known to break!

Yup broken mount on inside of fairing. Check the supports on both sides right by the speakers. Lots of guys make up brackets that seem to work out of angle iron but this guy sells some that work great and are easy to install for a fair price.

Checkout the video on his website. If anything it will tell you where to look.

I thought my bracket was broken, but when I opened it up I found a missing screw for the speaker bracket. I was afraid to over tighten them when I changed speakers. Now I use a drop of locktite.

The motor seems to shake more than normal in the front. the rear of the motor is tight but the shifter is bouncing like crazy, I think its more than fairing brackets

Does the vibration subside over 2,000 rpm, or just get faster?

If it's not the bracket. Check your motor mounts.

Did this just start outta nowhere or is it a new bike to you and just something you noticed about it?

If it just started suddenly, like everyone said, look under the fairing first. Then go to the motor mounts.

If its a new bike to you, it's probably just the nature of the beast. My 08 used to vibrate so bad at idle, that I couldn't see out of my mirrors. I replaced the front mount with a GlidePro and it made a huge difference. Far from smooth, but at least bearable now. I plan on doing the rest of the system this winter.
