Do yourself a favor and hold off having bungs installed and just buy an aftermarket headpipe or true duals, Most come with both size bungs so you can plug in the AT and your stock o2's incase your PCV craps out and you need to go back to stock. I didn't see anywhere in your post but do you still have or plan on keeping the cat in your headpipe??
Sorry for the lack of info on my setup guys. The first thing i did to my 11 flhx when i purchased her off the showroom floor. I installed v&h power duals for a 2011 FLHX and rhinhart mufflers SE A/C and a pcv so i allready have new headpipes. I was unawhare of the 18mm thing when i first chose my parts. That is my own fault for not being in the know and doing a search first. I have learnd a valuable lesson here . My feeling is if i have these new bungs welded in <And the shop did advise me they needed to be relocated close to the heads to get the most accurate readings> and just plug off the factory bungs if my pcv craps out i will still have the 12mm to plug back in untill i get a new pcv. If i still had the factory setup i would def buy an 09 headpipe but that is not the case here. $150 to remove the pipes and weld then reinstall then install the AT-100 do the setup and just call me when its done does not sound like a bad deal to me. Thanks for all the feedback and advise its nice to know that someone can go to a forum and get help for prettymuch anything that comes up. someone at some point has had the same problem and is willing to share there outcomes
Personally I don't like the look of the 02 sensors when they are so obvious and sticking out there way up by the head like on the 09 models.. You will also need to purchase an extended harness if one does not come with the Auto Tune kit. I stuck with the PCV and the Fuel Moto map but then again I only have a simple stage 1. Bike runs great! I sure agree with you though, these companies, not just Dynojet, need to be a lot more clear on their specs and application charting.
If your AT is for the 18mm then its already long enough. That price sounds fair for the weld and reinstall. I love my autotune when I need it and the only issue I have is I lose my cruise at times while its in auto tune mode. I can hit the kill switch and then flip it back and the bike starts on its own and the cruise starts working again. Its a pain but I don't need to always run the auto tune. I used it to perfect my performance and eco tunes that I recieved from Fuel Moto and it worked great. Then when I installed my cams I used it to perfect my cam tune I receieved from Fuel Moto and again it worked perfect. I shouldn't need it again until either I install a 107, heads or move to an area with a differant alt.

Call Fuel Moto they have a fix for this.
Mine was doing the same thing and I called Fuel Moto and Keith had me modify a couple of settings and I have not had any more issues.
I can't remember what he had me change, but I do remember he said it had something to do with AutoTune making an adjustment and that it was locking up the cruise.
Just have your bike dyno-ed and have a custom made map for your bike, and plug your bung holes(LOL) and call it a day.
I doubt any autotuner can do what a dyno can do. IMHO.
Then again, you must choose your dyno-er carefully and use what they suggest for a tuner.
True, but you have to pay a dyno tuner every time you make a change (cams, heads, bigger psitons and jugs) to your engine.
With auto tune (that was less than a dyno tune for me because I bought a used one) I can request a new map from Fuel moto for the changes I made and the AT will fine tune it. Fuel Moto is doing most of the work, The AT just helps it fit my bike with my conditions.
And he already bought it so why start the" you don't need the AT because I had mine dyno tuned" comments? This is normally when the threads starts to take a dive. Thanks for no help to the OP.
