Question New grip question?

Installed new Khrome Werks sweeper bars. Installed new Avon grips last night. The throttle doesn't snap back like the stock one. I put the stock on the new bars and worked just like it should but the Avon doesn't return like the stock grip....something I'm missing on new grip?

Thanks

Got done with the installation and had the same problem , just had to back off on that star throttle lock a bit.

Loosen the housing and pull the entire assembly just a hair farther out toward the end of the bar. Sounds like you have some tension on the grip.

There should be a little slack between the end of the bars and the new grips. If you remember when you had the stock ones on you should have been able to pull/push about a quarter inch of free play between the bar and grips. I put the Avon's on my 11 SG and had the same issue until I backed off the grip just a little bit. I think this is what t.sawyer is saying as well or am i just babbling nonsense?
