Default Street Glide Bars

I want to change the bars on my Street Glide. I like to ride with the cruise on, left foot on hiway peg and leaned back on the rider backrest. I have my left hand resting on the hand grip. I would like to have th ebars a few inches back to shorten the reach. Anybody have good ideas?

i just ordered 12" dresser apes from hill country customs and like them, only had them on for a couple of weeks. I'm only 5'8 so if i went any taller I would have turning issues as these bars stretch me out pretty far when I have to make tight turns. I'm having issues with wiring since I pulled them through the bars I guess I screwed something up

i just added WO 575s. they provide plenty of pullback and are a little taller than stock, dont get in the way of your mirrors, and dont stick up over the fairing. also, you can run wires internally and they are 1.25" bars so they dress it up a little.

with anything taller than 10" bars... you will have to extend your cables.... in some cases you can re-route your clutch cable to give you a little more slack. I put 12" PYO bars and extanded all my cables..went with longer brakes/clutch cables too.

if you're looking for a little more "back" and not really worried about that much more "up"... the WILD 1 #575s are probably a good idea...and they should be a relativley easy install as far a changing bars on a bagger goes....
