I had a broken wire by my plug that goes into the throttle body controller.
Here is my post: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...de-my-fix.html

Good info so far from the posts above. Hopefully you don't have a broken wire too as finding it is a slow process. Bad ECM maybe?

You say its trying to turn over. I am guessing it is turning over very slowly. Have You checked and charged battery?

Hey girl

Wish I had something to offer, but it seems Sean has tried everything I would have done.
Good Luck

The battery was dead. He charged it but it has a low charge. Might need a new battery with all the starting he's done trying to fix it?

Hey! How are you? I'm telling ya...we traded in the bikes on this one so we wouldn't have to keep fixing them. This has been worse. At least I knew he could fix the Dynas.

Not really slowly turning...just turns and does not hitting...maybe low or, dying..it is the original..had it on a charger but, think the charger is bad..will try another charger or, jump.

I am waiting for a new one of those plugs to come in to the shop, and am gonna get new wire sockets for that new plug so, should see bad wire. Also, in all this hunting on this problem I am gonna replace the throttle assembly under the grip, and check all that wiring. I guess after then I will start looking at the ecm plug. Gotta be something stupid, I did wash the hell outta it a little over a week before the troubles...after a rally..

If it is the orginal battery, get a new one. A bad battery can cause a lot of wierd electrical problems on bikes and automobiles.

Okay, ALL FIXED!! New plug, 6 new sockets for plug...back to normal. Glad it was just that...$25 pretty much took care of it..was getting alittle worried due to the extra codes, probably from me screwing with it. Cleaned the pins with alcohol, went ahead and got some HD electric contact grease and used it instead of the stuff I had..which may have been some of the issue..that stuff was alot thicker..Actually got a HD tech to talk to me about it...talked to a few other techs..barely would acknowledge what I was talking about, seemed like they gotta keep hush hush about it.."just bring it in" is all I got.

I've been following this thread and perhaps I'm just not seeing it, but what is the name of the plug that you replaced and what 6 sockets are you referring to? I'm having my own issues with my 2006 Street Glide, not exactly like what you've been dealing with. However I can't seem to track down what is causing it. So I figured I would leave to stone unturned so to speak and perhaps take a look at this plug that you have replaced.
