i have a 08 sg as well the 6" from clearview is the best 100$ you will spend on the bike besides maybe the 40-50$ for the footboard extenders
so ditto the 6" recurve is the best 100$ for the bike the recurve even looks nice I'm 6'0 tall and was worried the 6" would be tosmall it is awsome no more full face
an i got a bagger that'll bust that vrods *** all day long...howz dat for harassing & smartass
Yeah, but can you *ride* it? Lots of guys spend boocko bucks making their rides go really, really fast... and they ride them really, really fast.
In a straight line.
I laugh every time I see Mr. Badass Biker barreling down the road at 30-over, then drop it to 20mph to take a turn. 2, maybe 3 turns in, and they're not catching me. Even stunta-boyz on Gixxers suffer from this affliction. It's a disease and needs to be treated with dignity and compassion... nah, screw that... they need their doors blown off by an old guy on a bagger. LOL
Actually, He does have a BADASS BAGGER that he BUILT HIMSELF and RIDES the HELL out of...
he's new Terry, he aint got no history like some of us, aint never smoked no cigars together or rode no rapids or shipped his leathers home to lighten the load ...he's just got diareaha of the mouth.....i tried the 8" recurve but it was always a fight to look over or thru, so to the 6 i went
I'm5'9".The stock 4" windshield on my Streetglide caused the love bugs in Florida to kamikaze right into my forehead at the hairline. I hate love bugs anyway but this really pissed me off.
I ordered the 6.5" Clearview recurve (dark tint) and now theturbulence clears just over the top of my head. Service from Clearview was excellent. I ordered late on a Friday afternoon, too late for same day shipping. It went out on following Monday and the brown truck tooth fairy delivered on Wednesday.
For me, the 6.5" recurve is perfect for summertime. I may try a taller, clear windshield for cold weather just out of curiosity.
