SSC's rock! I've to a 13" for the long treks and an 11" dark tinefor just about anytime. NOTHING provides better protection and smooths the ride like an SSC. I also think they look cool in a unique kind of way
If you're someone who doesn't like stepping outside the proverbial design box it will take some getting used to. I like the way they swoop back toward the rider...seems to compliment the lines of the lowered SG.

Just make sure the top of the windshield is not at your eye site line. This messes with your vision. Sit on the bike and measure your sight line to make sure its above or below your site line.
