Ok, I just finished installing HD polyurethane clamp bushings tonight. The bars feel MUCH more sturdy. I can't wait to test it out tomorrow!! I wish I had known to install those as I was changing out the bars. It would have saved me another headache and I wouldn't had to have torn the front end apart AGAIN!! Oh well, live and learn!! LOL!!
Sure looks good...Excellent! And yes you'll find that those polyurethane bushings stiffin things up nice. Made sure I added those when I change things out. Otherwise, "SHARP"!
Absolutely sick Raceface! Absolutely sick! Thats the exact set up that I want for my RKC! So glad to be able to see pics. Did you go with the 1.25'' diameter bars, or the 1.5''? I can't stand these stock bars! Whenever I ride I get major aches in my shoulders and neck!

Hey thanks man!! I went with the 1.25". The 1.5" are substantially wider and I didn't want my arms spread that wide, even though I have a pretty wide wingspan being 6'4". I hated the stock bars with a passion too, that's why I switched to beach bars years ago, then ended up with different pain in different areas being a tall guy.....so I'm tryin' something different yet again
Lemme know if there is any change in the amount or intensity of vibration you get with the poly bushings please.
I did about 40 miles this morning. The movement has definitely stopped and I really don't feel any more of the road or vibration. My bike is lowered 1.5" which has made it ride more firm, but it feels no different to me than it did before the bushing change. I hope this helps.
What cable and wire kit did you use. Also did you replace the levers and
master cylinder.
I did chrome levers, switch housings, and master cylinder when I put my beach bars on a couple of years ago. On the bar switch to the Carlini's now, I went with a Namz wire extension kit and all Magnum cables. I do all my work myself to learn and save major dough!!
