I finished up installing 16" Carlini Gangsters yesterday. It's been on the jack for almost 2 weeks after receiving wrong parts and other of lifes "distractions". I'm pretty stoked how it came out! As I mentioned in another thread, I have some flexing going on with the mounts and have got to pull it apart to put polyurethane bushings in (who knew), but at least I'm back on the road!! I rode to work this morning and after having beach bars for almost 2 years, it's going to take some getting used to, but I'm digging it so far!! Next stop on the mod train....CVO style bags!!
I'm running beach bars and thinking of going to apes. Did you need to extend the internal wiring at all or change the cables?
Yes on all counts. I bought a kit and extended the internal wiring by 12" and all the cables and front brake line needed to be changed out for longer. I went 8" over on all it it worked out perfect.
Yours look great!!!
Here is my 16" Carlini "Gangsters" that I installed last winter. These things are great!!! I usually run my Mustang Day Tripper solo seat which makes it look much better but I had to install my Mustang pillon pad for a passenger during this picture..
