No need to pull the front tire, just need something long to punch the retainers.
Pretty easy. The rear is a no brainer, just remove it.

If it's an 09 and later. If it's an 08 and earlier you really want to add the brace or you risk the fender supports breaking.

Hmm. I'll have to take a look at that. I've had the rear bumper off my 07 for about a year and never thought it could be an issue. Didn't look that it gave support to anything.

First I removed them complete, used the 91140-04 brace and ran it for a couple of years. Currently I have put them back on w/o the rubber bumpers and kinda like the "nerf bar" look.
