I'm looking to put better speakers in my 2012 Street Glide. I am not interested in putting speakers in the saddlebags, yet. Who out there has had good results and with what. Thanks.
I wonder if that would help me? I'm pretty hard of hearing and over wind and the pipes I can't hear myself think, but better speakers might help. I'd probably get stopped for noise complaints tho :/
Hogtunes speakers I put them in with an amp. They sound great. My friend installed them without amp and is very happy. Sound louder and much clearer than stock

I'm no audiophile anymore but I'm upgrading my stock speakers with the J&M HCSK-7252GTM to improve the sound and eliminate some distortion at higher volumes. Let's face it, going down the road at 70-75 mph we're not going to get audiophile sound no matter what we do.
For a couple of hundred bucks I think this is a reasonable option IMHO. I'll be getting the speakers later this week so we'll see. Here's a link to check them out. http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....D=HCSK-7252GTM
I got the Hogtunes and it's a major improvements at highway speeds...a lot more crisp sounds... no amp for me, the Hogtunes is all i need. You can get them from Eastern pERFORMANCE CYCLE FOR ABOUT $85 delivered...
I upgraded to the Harley Boom speakers, no amp. Just using the stock head uniting my 11 limited. Improved quality at mid volume. I still get too much distortion at the highest volumes.
