ants!
Ants won't eat or chew through insulation, and when you eliminate the source (where it was parked) will die in a couple days.
I had this happen to my car recently (the hazards of Florida) where they instinctively seek higher ground when rain forces them from underground. My car was touching (just barely) a palm leaf and they chose my car as their new nesting place. My car was literally infested inside (found every crumb), in the engine compartment, and stopped just short of the trunk.
I seriously doubt your electrical issues were caused by ants. But, I'd take it in so they can troubleshoot under warranty. Good advise not to mention ants. They would prolly deny warranty work then.
Good luck.

I would walk around it with the leaf (or in this case ant) blower wide open to try to remove any scraglers or remains before you bring it in. Just look and act dumb with no mention of the little critters. That works well for lots of folks around here!
