Comfy Passenger...
I had a "memory foam" layer added to the stock seat, and that helped, but not enough. So I cut a section of actual Tempur-Pedic material from a matress topper I no longer needed, and covered it in black vinyl. I made the stitching on the top look like the stock seat, and left the front section longer so that it tucked into the driver's backrest.
It was difficult to tell it was there... Until she sat on it. She was comfortable with no butt or lower back pain after 850 miles.
Upon getting home, I tore it all apart and put the foam inside the rear of the stock seat, but it became less comfortable to her. Im guessing because the stretched leather somewhat compresses the memory foam?
Nonetheless... Does anyone know of a company that makes a pad like the first one I made? If not, I'll just make another one.
