Should be back up no, not sure what happened. it seems to be running ok. But you can give James a call at 775-331-3789 and he'll get you squared away. Sorry you had trouble with the site. It should be good to go now. : )

Wind buffeting is a real problem for me having to wear glasses.

I'm 5"10 and my eyes hit at about 10" over the top of the fairing.

Size?
Brand?
Tinted?

Thanks in advance.

Do you wear a helmet and if so what kind?

Im running a 6.5 in klockwerks windshield and the side mounted fairing deflectors. I talked to Brain (owner and designer) at Sturgis for a good 30 minutes about his product and he absolutly sold me. He told me to try it for the week and bring it back if i didnt like it. I still got it on.

It hasn't made the buffeting problem go away, but it helped... Along with the deflectors. Also stablized the front of the bike.

The problem is the air that rushes under your fairing and around your forks... it comes straight up the side of you and into your face. You can feel it when your riding and hold your hand next to you.

I found that not wearing a helmet helps...
Also wearing the glasses with the foam helped as well.

Ive been wanting to try this product http://street-glide.com/order.html
But have heard mixed reviews.

I had those side mounted fairing air deflectors on my Street Glide, in my opinion they just don't look right on a Street Glide.

I'm telling you try switching helmets. I'm now wearing the very popular "Outlaw".

Since switching I've ditched the air deflectors and I am going to ditch the 8" windshield currently on the bike. I'm going back to a 6.5 Klock Werks. Which I think looks much better on a Street Glide.

I am 5'10" and have a 9" LRS Stealth, dragon wings and JES custom accents fork deflectors. This combo works great! Just a nice breeze in the face!!!

LRS is the way to go my friend! Hope you followed through. Phone is best anyway so they can help you pick the right height. I'd guess 7" Ultra Flip with deflectors. Enjoy...

Harley Fork deflector ( cheapest Harley part that does the most). LRS flip windshield and i can hear radio better with less wind vibration. Seat height and where it places you in the "air bubble" can make a difference also. Trial and error.

+1 also have vented lowers.. (like dry feet). i'm also 5'10" and the 8' lrs ultra with the fairing deflectors (not fork deflectors) and fork baffle are the ticket.. the baffle pretty much doesn't do anything but keep the water from flicking up from the tank into your eyes during a rainstorm...

used the lowers this morning.. caught in a hard sideways driving rainstorm on the way home.. had to slow to 25 or 30 and watch for the reflectors to see the road.. would have pulled over except nowhere to go.. safer to move than remain stationary target for cars struggling to see also.

What type of fairing deflectors? Is this an LRS part, or?
