I'm sure this has been beaten to death already, but with all the new options available I wanted to get everyone's updated opinion. I've got a 15" that came with the bike and I like how it performs, but I don't care for having to look through it. I tried the 7" HD Wind Splitter, but it felt like the stocker to me. Wind buffeting is a real problem for me having to wear glasses.
I'm 5"10 and my eyes hit at about 10" over the top of the fairing.
I almost think that the buffeting has more (or just as much) to do with wind around fairing and in between tank and fork.
I didn't believe it but after I messed with several windshields I put the fairing things on (pic) and fork thing and even with just the fairing things the buffeting was cut by 70/80%.
