So I pull the trigger and order the 10" Jaffee Bagger Apes for my 02 Ultra. Get everything taken apart OK. I would however like to take a tire iron to the guy who designed the radio mounting with no way to get to the Allen bolts!
Get the new bars and and the $$%^@&^ brake line will not fit. Drive up to the dealer and guess what - not only do they not have what I need in stock, but the whole thing is one big expensive assembly and not just a longer cable from the master cylinder to the distribution block. So much for a fast, easy low cost upgrade.
On the plus side it looks like the bars will be great - I no longer feel like I am pushing them apart and that they are holding my body up.
