Bus Err and several codes

So I was on a little ride yesterday and my 07 SG shows the Bus Err code and speedo stopped for a bit. I got a engine light, a battery light and the little red key light. Went by the dealer and bought a new battery for the key fob and rode home. At this point the bike would start and then I would get a engine light for a few seconds and then it would go away. I went through the diagnostic process and cleared all the codes. So far no problems. Would the battery in the keyfob cause all that or do I have a problem that is far worse than that? Thanks for all the help in advance.

Middle of the day and there are less people who know about that electrical and computer stuff. Give it time and someone will respond. I don't know much about the code stuff.

I've had the same errors on my 2010 and severe rain caused it. Once everything dried out it cleared up.

This could well be it. Bike was out in the rain overnight. (I didnt know it was supposed to rain). I cleared everthing out and rode to work today. All is well so far.
