The oil filter for sure, the gasket kit should but maybe verify with your local parts dept.

Part of the kit will. You can use the 25416-99C disc on the derby cover and the two 1105 o-rings. You will need a third 11105 o-ring and there is no use for the chain inspection cover gaskets. The newer model kit only includes 3 11105 o-rings and the derby cover o-ring. However, if your 08 has an accessory derby cover then you would need the 25416-99C disc gasket anyway.

Interesting thing happened on my last fluid change I did on my 08 EGC. I have the stock derby cover. When I went to the dealer, he gave me the cardboard-type gasket. After reading on this board that you can use the large o-ring over I was gonna use it. When I took the derby cover off, I wiped it down and removed the large o-ring to inspect it. I gently wiped it down, and when I went to reinstall it, it wouldn't fit. It appeared to swell and would not go back into the groove of the derby cover. Glad I had the cardboard type gasket. Went ahead and used that one.

Quick question though. Can the cardboard type gasket be used over or does it need to be replaced every time the derby cover is removed?

I reuse my gasket a few times before replacing.
