I thought it was gonna be the non-color-matched mid-frame heat deflector.

Your decision has to come down to where you'd rather spend your cash. Personally, I think a chromed stock rear is plenty, for as much as the rear wheel is noticed.

Kinda funny how many are picking up on that. Considering almost ALL of them are black that are out there.

When I first saw the pic of your bike I thought "That's a classy looking bike-can't find a thing wrong with it." After I read through the post I still couldn't see any issue. There have been posts that no one will notice once it's off the stand, and 90% of folks won't take note even on the stand.

If it bothers you that much, spend the $$ and get on with it. You're fretting over nothing, though.

You said your rear wheel is always covered in brake dust, I agree but here is an easy way to clean it with out washing your bike.

I use Cajun Shine All and some micro fiber rags.
Squirt a little bit of Shine All on a micro fiber cloth wipe off the break dust, then wipe dry with another micro fiber cloth.
That break dust wipes right off with no effort at all.

I buy mine right off the internet: http://www.cajunshineall.com/
It works on every thing: chrome, paint, plastic.
The only time my bike sees a car wash is after I've been to the coast to rinse the salt off.

I'm ****, but I'm lazy too........................lol

The major thing I see wrong with your bike and it really sticks out to me and that is, that's not my drive way! Nice looking ride!

Thanx for the tip.

Actually, the dust wipes right off. My gripe is just that its there in the first place. I dunno why the rear brake kicks up so much more dust that the fronts, but Im definitely gonna try some different brake pads.

But I do appreciate your taking time to offer the tip.
