Default TSSM upgrade?

I have an 06 Electra Glide Ultra Classic with the standard TSM. I want to get a TSSM without the push button. 07 and up from what I understand. Will the new style security work on an 06?

The part number I found online to add factory security for the 06 is 68200-00D but it has the push button.

If anyone has tried the new version on an older bike let me know. Thanks in advance.

FYI on any part number- the 2 digits after the hypen indicate the year the part was introduced ( but not always what years it fits)

The letter denotes version...so a D would be the 4th version, which could indicate a change or supplier for that part

in the first 100 years, some parts did not have a year denoter, and were usually nuts, bolts, washers etc.

HD is changing away from that system with new introduced parts- shame

Not sure on the TSSM, but the ECM part numbers are the same for a 2006 and a 2007.
